IID Officer Makes Shocking Statement!Judge Fixes Trial And Denies Witnesses!

Here's a short recap...

02/03/09 --- Arrested and threatened by CID/ISD.
06/03/09 --- SPF claimed they have a case of shoptheft against me from more than a year ago.
10/03/09 --- 2nd meeting with CID/ISD.
13/03/09 --- 1st ever meeting with Mr Chia Ti Lik,Advocater & Solicitor.Released a short
statement on my blog.
17/03/09 --- Received email from Hardwarezone Administrator/Moderator that
SPF had requested my thread to be removed and banned as i was lying.
18/03/09 - 15/04/09 --- Waited for SPF to approach me.
01/04/09 --- Appeared in Court 3 for PTC.Judge adjourned case for me to get a lawyer.No verdict was handed down,but the minute i stepped out of Chambers,there were 2 persons waiting outside Judge's chambers to take me away.Signs of a Kangaroo Court?
16/04/09 --- Made police report at Paya Lebar NPP.Report number F/20090416/2131.
17/04/09 --- Emailed CID with statements of 02/03/09,10/03/09 and 01/04/09 and demanded a formal response.
17/04/09 --- Received auto-reply stating SPF will reply shortly.
26/04/09 --- www.wayangparty.com released article about lack of response
29/04/09 --- Released blogpost and thread in various forums about SPF total lack of reaction.
29/04/09 --- Received a letter from Internal Investigation Department.Letter by a Mr Frankie Yeo (Senior Station Inspector) requesting my assistance in police investigation on the 05/05/09 at 9.30am.
30/04/09 --- Received another letter from a Mr Paul Tan,writing on behalf of the Quality Service Manager(SPF),stating that the investigation will take estimated 2 months.
01/05/09 - 03/05/09 --- Public Holiday + Weekend
04/05/09 --- Called IID and left voicemail that i had a court attendance on the exact same day and
time that they arranged for the interview.
05/05/09 --- Was contacted by IID Mr Frankie Yeo to attend interview the next day.
06/05/09 --- Interview with Mr Frankie Yeo at IID.Was told investigation needs 2 months.Was informed,"We cannot produce the policemen in public because we cannot control what they say."
25/05/09 --- Attended PTC at Court 3.Was denied my right to call upon witnesses even after showing all documents that proved that SPF had been less than honest in handling this matter.And that the evidence produced may be suspected to have been fabricated.Trial is fixed for 3rd June at Court 6 at 0930am.

I don't know what to say.I am in possesion of all necessary documents and may post them up after consultation with my lawyer Mr Chia Ti Lik tomorrow.I will be sending the information out to all media agencies and i hope those online bloggers/news sites are brave enough to send 1 or 2 persons down to cover the trial.

• Statement Of 06/05/09

  A meeting had been arranged with a Mr Frankie Yeo of SPF's Internal Investigation Department on this day.

  What happened when i was there?Basically,nothing much happened.

  Mr Yeo took a statement,which was basically the same as i had given for the past 2 months.

  He was very insistent that "he was only there to act upon my complaint against the police officer",which was with regards to the police report i had filed at Paya Lebar NPP on the 16/04/09.

  I have pointed out to Mr Yeo the fact that there appears to be much more things going on that i wish to find out more about.And that my complaint is not against the police officer.

  Mr Yeo also claimed that the investigation may take up to 2 months,which was the same thing that was said in a letter sent to me by a Mr Paul Tan,who was writing on behalf of the Quality Service Manager(QSM)of the SPF.

  I would like to remind everyone about the fact that on the 17/03/09,an email was received from an Admin/Mod of Hardwarezone forums,stating that the Singapore Police had accused me of lying about my experience.Subsequently,i was denied access from the said forum and my thread mysteriously disappeared.

  If the SPF had not conducted an investigation at that time,how can it run around the Internet accusing me of lying?

  Please note that they only bothered to contact me almost 2 weeks after i lodged 2 separate reports.And only after i publicly questioned the "black hole" in various public forums.

  I asked about the current whereabouts of officer Iskandar Tang.Mr Yeo was non-committal and extremely careful with his answers.He insisted that i do not quote him.He then asked me what i heard.I informed him that i had heard that Iskandar is under detention.

  Mr Yeo then asked me what is my definition of detention.I told him i felt it's those detained without trial kind of thing.He told me he thinks detention means in prison.However,he did not at anytime say that Iskandar is in detention.

  Mr Yeo stated that he would proceed to investigate the contents of my statement.And that he would inform me of the outcome via letter.I asked whether there was any opportunity for me to meet Iskandar Tang,he neither said yes or no.He only kept repeating that he would be conducting investigations and he would do all the necessary,and i would only need to be kept informed by letter.

  What does PoThePanda feel?It's still swirling around in a blackhole while they decide on their next best course of action.

  I have been observing the mainstream media this few days,closely observing the reports of the supposed capture of Mas Selamat Kastari.My assessment is that there is a major propaganda campaign going on to brainwash the Singaporean people into believing that :

  1)Myth:ISD is only for the betterment of ordinary Singaporeans.

  2)Myth:ISA is only used against terrorists.

  3)Myth:ISA is a good and just law.

  We know that :

  1)ISD is akin to the Gestapo in Germany during WWII.It is a secret political police.Rather much like the dogs in George Orwell's Animal Farm.

  2)ISA has been used against Opposition politicians,social activists,dissidents and ordinary Singaporeans who expose the wrongdoings of certain people...who are "above the law".

  3)If anyone is guilty of a crime,he/she should be brought to public trial and tried before the public.

  If MSK is truly guilty of all those crimes the state media is playing up,why is he not tried in court?

  Statement For 05/05/09

  I was due in Court 3 at 9.30am for PTC.

  
  Mr Chia was not feeling well but insisted on attending court.As he was not at full strength after medication,he omitted to submit the list of witnesses i had instructed him to call upon.We will attempt to do so at the next PTC.

  According to Mr Chia,the next PTC has been fixed for 25/05/09.The police claim they have a written confession by me and are going to call upon 2 witnesses for the alledged shoptheft case.

  I attended a short meeting with Mr Chia in his office at or about 4pm.While going over the case with Mr Chia,i received a call from Senior Station Inspector Frankie Yeo of the Internal Investigation Department at or about 4pm.Mr Frankie Yeo wanted to arrange a new day & time to get my statement over this Police Death Threats case.As Mr Chia had told me he wanted to be present,i informed Mr Yeo that Mr Chia wanted to be present.Mr Yeo then obtained Mr Chia's full name and NRIC from me,the reason he gave,"for security clearance" purposes.

  About 20mins later,Mr Yeo called me back.He asked for the reason why Mr Chia wanted to be present.After a short discussion with Mr Chia,i informed Mr Yeo that Mr Chia wanted to be there as a witness to proceedings.Mr Yeo then said that they feel that is no basis for Mr Chia to be present,and that they did not want Mr Chia to be present.I informed Mr Chia of this,and he said since that was the case,he would not be going.

  The appointment was fixed for Wednesday 06/05/09,for 9.30am,at

• Singapore Police Force Yet To Reply Over PoThePanda Lim Kopi Case

  Dear readers,as some of you should know by now,there was an infamous incident in March 2009,where a blogger & regular forummer Gary Tan Yeong Hong,who writes under the moniker PoThePanda(that's me by the way)( www.xanga.com/pothepanda/weblog ),was arrested and subjected to a highly unusual interrogation by the Singapore Police Force(SPF).

  I released a short statement on my blog on the 13/03/09 which detailed the events of 02/03/09.I then conducted a video interview with www.wayangparty.com which was broadcasted on the 23/03/09.Subsequently,i was informed by the administrator/moderator of www.hardwarezone.com via email,that the SPF had requested the article to be taken down from the website.SPF stated that the reason was because that I was lying.

  Now this was very unusual,as I had demanded the SPF,the ISD and the PAP government to response publicly if i was lying.

  In a police state like Singapore,why didn't the SPF,the ISD or the PAP government response to my statements publicly if they were untrue?Since that day,I have been waiting for the SPF to contact me to follow-up but they did not.Apparently,they had the time to contact Administrators on Internet portals,stating that I am lying but they did not have time to contact me.

  After a discussion with his lawyer Mr Chia Ti Lik,a prominent human rights activist in Singapore,I decided to file an official complaint with the SPF.I did so on the 16/04/09 at Paya Lebar NPP.

  Subsequently,on the 17/04/09,I sent in my statements on the events of 02/03/09,10/03/09 and 01/04/09 to the SPF/CID via their website.I requested an official case to be opened,and stated that I wished to pursue the matter.

  

  I then received an auto-generated reply by the SPF.

  

  It has been more than a week(almost 2 months if you count the day since the video interview)and up till today,nobody from the SPF has contacted me.

  In view of our nation's dark history with regards to Operation Coldstore and Operation Spectrum,I have this message for the netizens in Singapore and the world.

  What is happening?

  How many NETIZENS have been placed under detention through the dirty methods used by these people?

  How many NETIZENS have been killed,met with an accident or mysteriously disappeared?

  How many of the NETIZENS ARE YOUR FRIENDS?

  Who do we hold accountable for this?

  Why are the official agencies not responding?

  What are they hiding?
